PRAYER TO ST. JOSEPH IN TIME OF DISTRESS
We come to you, O blessed Joseph, in our sore distress. Having sought the aid of your most blessed spouse, we now confidently implore thy assistance also. We humbly beg that, mindful of the dutiful affection that bound you to the immaculate Virgin Mother of God, and of the fatherly love with which you cherish the Child Jesus, you will lovingly watch over the heritage that Jesus Christ purchased with His blood, and by your powerful intercession help us in our urgent need.
Most powerful guardian of the Holy Family, protect the chosen race of Jesus Christ; drive far from us, most loving father, every pest of error and corrupting sin. From your place in heaven, most powerful protector, graciously come to our aid in this conflict with the power of darkness, and as of old you delivered the Child Jesus from supreme peril of life, so now defend the holy Church of God from the snares of her enemies and from all adversity.
Have each of us always in your keeping, that, following your example, and borne up by your strength, we may be able to live holily, die happily, and so enter the everlasting bliss of heaven.

All glory and praise to our good Lord through Jesus Christ who keep revealing us God even in our turbulent times of life.
Thanks a lot for this prayer,and may I testify this for God’s glory as I keep myself and family under the protections and prayers of Saint Joseph for a job which Jesus promised me as I wait for it’s revelation in the physical conscious / world.
It was in 2003 at 10am when we were praying the Rosary prayer with a group of Marian friends sited in a circle.
But due to life challenges coupled with hopelessness ,I was folding my legs on the other when I saw a vision of Saint Joseph in our midst standing.
I was scared since I was not yet used to such apparitions.
It took me time to recognize him as Saint Joseph and I thought it was Jesus because they looked alike in the picture.
It was until I heard a voice telling me,”It’s not Jesus but saint Joseph,and from today henceforth,be invoking his intercessions in your prayers for your protections against your enemies”.
Though I didn’t have his prayers,but that evening I visited another family( our small christian community member) and found a mass missal on the table.
When I picked it,the first page I opened was that Saint Joseph prayer with a voice telling me that’s the prayer and I copied it and later printed it and has been my devotional prayer all through as I also teach people to emulate.
