SANTISIMO CRISTO DE LA BUENA MUERTE (MOST HOLY CHRIST OF A HAPPY DEATH, Seville, Spain).

SANTISIMO CRISTO DE LA BUENA MUERTE
(MOST HOLY CHRIST OF A HAPPY DEATH)

Dear brethren in Christ, here you have my favorite image of Our Lord Jesus Christ here in Seville, a 1620 AD work of the famous artist, Juan de Mesa It is the processional image of the Confraternity or Hermandad de los Estudiantes founded in 1924 by professors of University of Seville. It has around 1500 Nazarenes participating in the Holy Week procession. It has its chapel within the Rectory Building of Universidad de Sevilla.

We adore Thee, O Christ and we bless you, because by your HOly Cross, You have redeemed the world. Oh Most Holy Christ of a Happy Death, have mercy on us and on the whole world!

Cordially inviting you to like and follow www.facebook.com/Catholicsstrivingforholiness and share our posts to help more people in their Catholic faith and life. Thanks and God bless! Fr. Rolly Arjonillo
