WANT TO LOVE JESUS MORE IN THE HOLY EUCHARIST?
VISIT HIM DAILY!

 

In the school where I work as one of the chaplains, a lot of students, professors and parents, upon arriving at school, during lunchtime or at the day’s end, make a short visit to Our Lord in the school oratory, just to greet him, talk to him for some minutes or bid him goodbye. It is always a joy as well to see lot of girls of different ages show their love, respect and affection for  Jesus, who is really present in the Tabernacle. The smaller preschool boys and girls, around 3-5 yrs of age, are brought by their teachers before or after lunch and pray or sing before the Blessed Sacrament and to Our Lady and to both they give their flying kisses.

 

Recently, the Auxiliary Bishop of the diocese visited the school to meet with the Board and when he was led to the oratory to greet Our Lord, he was amazed to see girls of different ages praying in the oratory during their free time after the lunch break. He was so delighted that he praised the spiritual formation given to the girls in the school.

 

St Josemaria wrote:

 

“JESUS HAS REMAINED WITHIN THE EUCHARIST FOR LOVE… of you. He has remained, knowing how men would treat him… and how you would treat him. HE HAS REMAINED SO THAT YOU COULD EAT HIM, SO THAT YOU COULD VISIT HIM AND TELL HIM WHAT’S HAPPENING TO YOU; AND SO THAT YOU COULD TALK TO HIM AS YOU PRAY BESIDE THE TABERNACLE, and as you receive him sacramentally; and so THAT YOU COULD FALL IN LOVE MORE AND MORE EACH DAY, AND MAKE OTHER SOULS, MANY SOULS, FOLLOW THE SAME PATH.. (The Forge, 887).” : “I like to call the Tabernacle a prison — a prison of Love. FOR TWENTY CENTURIES HE HAS BEEN WAITING THERE, WILLINGLY LOCKED UP, FOR ME AND FOR EVERYONE (The Forge, 827).” “DON’T OMIT THE VISIT TO THE BLESSED SACRAMENT. After your usual vocal prayer, tell Jesus, really present in the Tabernacle, of the cares and worries of your day. AND YOU WILL RECEIVE LIGHT AND STRENGTH FOR YOUR LIFE AS A CHRISTIAN (The Way, 554).”

 

If we want to fall in love more with Jesus in the Holy Eucharist, we have to deal with Him more frequently. LOVE AND FRIENDSHIP GROWS THROUGH FREQUENT DEALINGS, let us not forget. One way is to visit Him daily. HOW IS THE VISIT TO THE BLESSED SACRAMENT DONE? There are many ways, an example is as follows:

• OUR FATHER. HAIL MARY. GLORY BE. (Repeat 3x, after which the spiritual communion is said)
• SPIRITUAL COMMUNION: I wish Lord to receive you, with the purity, humility and devotion, with which your most Holy Mother received you, with the spirit and fervor of the saints.

That’s it! But if you want to stay longer to talk to Our Lord and do some mental prayer, better then 😀

 

Dear friends, IF THERE’S AN ORATORY, ADORATION CHAPEL OR A CHURCH NEARBY OUR HOME, OFFICE OR SCHOOL , OUR LORD WILL BE PLEASED IF WE PAY HIM  A VISIT IN THE BLESSED SACRAMENT, AS A MANIFESTATION OF OUR THANKSGIVING AND LOVE FOR HIM, who willingly wanted to be enclosed in the Tabernacle in order to be near to us and to facilitate our dealings with Him. MOTHER MARY, MOTHER OF FAIR LOVE, HELP US FALL IN LOVE MORE WITH YOUR SON EACH DAY THROUGH CONCRETE DEEDS.
