CONGRATULATIONS TO THE PRESIDENT-ELECT OF THE PHILIPPINES, RODRIGO DUTERTE. OUR PRAYERS FOR YOU, OUR COUNTRYMEN AND OUR NATION!
Dear brethren in Christ, the partial and unofficial Results as of 3:20 AM (Manila time), May 10, 2016, representing 87.33% of the Nationwide Election Returns. (82,332 of 94,276 Election Returns) (40,193,424 of 55,735,757 Registered Voters) have yielded 14,730,947 votes in favor of the candidate, Rodrigo Duterte, with an almost overwhelming 6-million margin to the next candidate, Mar Roxas, who garnered 8,829,758 votes. In spite of still being a partial and unofficial result, it seems clear who turned out as the choice of the majority of the Filipinos and thus the winner of this year’s presidential election.
“Vox populi iudicavit”! A new era has begun in the history of the Philippines. As such, our prayers and best wishes for the unofficial president-elect for the good of the entire nation. The Filipino people have placed their trust on you. May you carry out the job to the best of your abilities. May you be an instrument of healing, unity, social justice, peace, and progress, providing a better life for our countrymen, especially for those who are poor, sick and unemployed. God bless you in all your endeavours! God bless the entire Filipino nation!
